Harris Family Furniture has an opening for an individual to get in on the ground floor with a new web initiative.
This internship will be offered from May 2013 to August of 2013.
Harris Family Furniture is a fourth generation company founded in 1965. It all began in 1961 in Bristol, New Hampshire when Russell Harris and his brother Henry ran Harris Brothers. Then in 1965, Russell opened what is now known as Harris Family Furniture on Main Street in Plymouth, and his four oldest children, Bill, Bob, Jack, and Richard joined him in the business. In 1972, as Bill and Bob were graduating from college, Harris Family Furniture opened its second location in a handsome Victorian on Union Avenue in Laconia. The boys took on the new store and brought their grandfather Henry out of retirement to work as their accounting manager (he had begun his career as a furniture representative just after World War I).
Harris Family Furniture is committed to equal opportunity in the terms and conditions of employment for all employees and job applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, gender identity or gender expression, national origin, disability or veteran status.
