This position will sit in our Pitney Bowes Mail Services business unit. This business unit helps customers earn the best possible discounts on First-Class® and Standard® postage with our presort services, doing work the U.S. Post Service would otherwise have to perform. This service spans the globe with international offerings, ranging from mail preparation and fulfillment to courier and freight services.
We are currently seeking a Network Manager. The right candidate will be an integral part of our talented team, supporting our continued growth. This position will be located in our Clifton, NJ office.

  • Job Responsibilities

    • Provide oversight of final mile providers and approved carriers within the global network and provider management group.
    • Monitor performance utilizing tools, feedback, and discovery taking corrective action and root cause/continuous improvement processes to ensure SLA contracts are compliant.
    • Provide track and trace support.
    • Provides expertise to analyze transportation procedures to ensure the efficient and economical delivery of the organization’s freight management.
    • Document and train operations team on correct process flow and documentation generation per Carrier/Vendor utilized.
    • Will provide feedback to management team on carrier performance, score carding and areas of opportunity for improvement.
    • Responsible for assuring compliance of vendors to expected performance and regulatory requirements while optimizing costs, facilitating revenues and improving profitability.
    • Carrier Management • (Monitor performance, accuracy of information, evaluation).
    • Strong experience in small package, parcel, courier network management.
    • Network Audit ,review and onboarding (final mile providers and freight carriers).
    • Develop & manage KPI’s (i.e. on-time performance, margin, data integrity, lane balances, root cause investigation).
    • Transportation Management System software knowledgeable.
    • Successfully manage SLA’s to achieve performance goals (i.e. conflict resolution, performance management).
    • Project Management.
    • Continuous Improvement (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma principles).
    • Computer Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, Access.

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree
    • Employment: Mid-Senior level
    • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Logistics or International Business.
    • Knowledgeable in Carrier Management process.
    • Strong experience in small package, parcel, courier network management.
    • Network Audit, review and onboarding.
    • Develop & manage KPI’s.
    • Knowledgeable in Transportation Management System software.
    • Strong Project Management skills.
    • Continuous Improvement with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
    • Proficient Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Proven success working globally with multiple departments, business units and functional areas.
    • Detail Oriented
    • Proven experience providing tools and analysis needed for optimal decision making.
    • Ability to be productive within an agile work environment.
